Reuth TLV Rehabilitation Hospital

Reuth is one of the largest rehabilitation hospitals in Israel. It has 356 inpatient beds spread across three divisions that specialize in general rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, and respiratory rehabilitation. The hospital is affiliated with the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine. It also provides internships to medical students from most academic institutions in Israel and trains specialists in rehabilitation, geriatrics, and pain management.
In addition to the inpatient departments, the hospital has an array of clinics and institutes including a day rehabilitation center, a pain institute, an institute for the treatment of eating disorders, a center for sexual health, a complementary medicine clinic, and more. It is home to the Research and Development Institute which conducts leading research in collaboration with academic institutions and technology companies.
The hospital’s therapeutic approach, known as “The Spirit of Reuth,” is professional, personalized, and compassionate. It sees patients as individuals and aims to address their and their loved ones’ unique needs and sensitivities. History
In 1961, the Reuth Tel Aviv Rehabilitation Hospital was established. Originally named Lichtenstadter Sanatorium, the 44-bed facility was the first rehabilitation hospital in Israel. It treated people with disabilities and chronic conditions, most of them older adults and Holocaust survivors. Reuth continued to grow and develop with the city of Tel Aviv.
The ever-increasing demand for Reuth’s services has been met with continued growth and expansion. Today, it is a renowned hospital that provides rehabilitation services to patients from all over the country.
